In our second segment of Realtor.com’s annual list of the top 10 hottest housing zip codes across the country, we continue our countdown to the No. 1 suburb where homebuyers are flocking to get more bang for their buck. Two states that we service made this list.

#6. Lincoln Village, Ohio (Columbus)

Lincoln Village, ZIP code 43228, is just 10 minutes from downtown Columbus, and offers a hip combination of suburban and city life. Whether a prospective homebuyer is looking to grow into a larger home, or downsize, the area offers plenty of affordable housing. Columbus has lots of state and local parks with walking trails, hiking, and biking. The median listing price in this ZIP code rose by nearly 57 percent from last year, but it remains 22 percent lower than the Columbus metro area, and 39 percent less than the national median home price.

#5. Brentwood, North Carolina (Raleigh)

Brentwood’s 27616 ZIP code is a brief 20 minutes from the Research Triangle area of downtown Raleigh, Rolesville, and Wake Forest. This area has townhomes and luxury residences that range between $600,000 and $700,000. The median listing price in this locale is up nearly 1 percent year-over-year, but it is 22 percent lower than the Raleigh metro area, and 17 percent lower than the national median home price.

#4. Manchester Proper, New Hampshire (Manchester) 

Manchester Proper, ZIP code 03103, is located on the southside of Manchester—New Hampshire’s most popular city. This area has affordable homes, a healthy job market, and lots of outdoor activities. The median list price rose 30 percent year-over-year, but it is still 23 percent lower than the Manchester metro area, and 18 percent less than the national median home price.
